Cox’s Bazar and Sundarbans are in good position of selecting New 7 Wonders

Cox’s Bazar beach and Sundarbans Forest have created excellence at the very beginning of selecting New 7 Wonders of Nature. Cox’s Bazar beach, largest sea beach of the world, has taken the first position among the primary nominated 158 natural places of the world. Cox’s bazar was on second position until yesterday but now it is on the first position exceeding the first position of largest mangrove forest of the world, Sundarbans. Sundarbans and Cox’s bazar were on second and third positions respectively on the day before yesterday.

One hundred and fifty eight places were nominated primarily in the seven wanders nomination process. Voting system is continuing through internet among these places. Name of 51 places (highest number of places) from South America exist in the list. Europe (31), Asia (30), North America (27), Africa (19) and Oceania (10) are on second, third, fourth, fifth and sixth positions respectively considering the number of nominated places. On the basis of voting of internet users, vertex seven places of the seven wanders list were Cox’s bazar(Bangladesh), Sundarbans (Bangladesh/India), Davolia Varos (Serbia), Ganges River (Bangladesh/India), Mount Everest Mountain (Nepal), Amazon(Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Equator, Peru, Venezuela), Titikaka lake (Bolivia/Peru) respectively till yesterday.

New seven wanders Foundation has initiated selecting seven natural wanders after the selection of seven new wanders on July, 2007. Votes will be taken until 31st December, 2008 to select seven topping natural places. Web address to vote Sundarbans Forest and Cox’s Bazar beach is:

Bangladeshi internet users have great contribution behind achieving top places of Sundarbans and Cox’s Bazar at very beginning of selection process. More and more voting and publicity on favour of these places are needed to keep these positions next one year.

Because of its heighst length and natural fornt view I think the cox’s bazar may be in first place.Also now it is increasing its security for visitors day by day.
And the Sundarban may take place in the second besause it is one of the largest Mangrove forest in the world, where royal bengal tiger in the deep jungle, croco-dile in the cannel of forest and so on animals & insects are live in.
